Our purpose-built, world-class facilities include in-transit warehouse and storage solutions, supported by a dedicated, world-class team.
In 1993, Rui joined forces with Boltt Removals, expanding its fleet and establishing a new premises in Linbro Business Park. Despite being instrumental in the growth of the business, a change in management led to Rui’s involuntary departure from Boltt by 2007. Determined to succeed, Rui’s strong client relationships and industry knowledge enabled him to open his own transportation business in 2008, and so Campos Transport was born. Starting with a modest fleet, Campos Transport quickly gained traction, expanding to over 100 trucks and opening new depots.

A LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE, DEDICATION & SUCCESS
The story of Campos Transport is one of many twists and turns – a beautiful journey that started back in 1974, when founder Rui Campos began his entrepreneurial journey. Driven by the need to support himself after his family moved to South Africa from Mozambique in 1974, Rui started working part-time at a bottle store at the age of 16, and quickly added other side jobs to his repertoire, such as ushering at the cinema and working at Panorama Food Market. Despite skipping school to play pinball with friends, Rui’s resourcefulness led him to become a full-time role as a parts salesman at Lyndsay Saker Volkswagen, where he was promoted to Parts Manager before eventually joining a larger Volkswagen branch. By 1988, Rui transitioned into the transport industry with Bluechip Racehorse Carriers & Medwood Furniture Removals, rapidly mastering the field and advancing through various roles, including Operations Manager at several transport companies.
Today, Campos Transport continues to thrive, diversifying into household removals, eCommerce deliveries, and supporting local manufacturers while continually evolving our services and fleet to meet our clients’ growing needs.
